Archie Duke

Archie is the Chief Logistics Officer of Airtel. His responsibilities encompass ensuring the synergy of business development projections and industry demands with in-company capabilities. Archie is a graduate of the University of Lagos, where he obtained B. Sc in Geography and Planning. His foresight, business acumen and zeal are apparent in his entrepreneurial inclinations. To date, he has established and successfully managed businesses in varied sectors of the Nigerian economy. His business interests and investments range from Automobile sales to the importation of staple foods.

To date, he has established and successfully managed businesses in varied sectors of the Nigerian economy. His business interests and investments range from Automobile sales to the importation of staple foods.

Mr Duke has served as an Executive Director at the following organisations: Hegeds International Limited (a clearing and forwarding establishment), Allied Merchants & Brokers (exclusive agent to the Uncle Ben's Rice concession in Nigeria) and Mobile Instruments.

He then moved to Macaw Limited in 2001 where he was head Head of Sales Procurement & Logistics. Whilst this position enabled him to garner invaluable experience in the workings of international and local telecommunications development, particularly engendering of public interest in the technological development of and sales of telecommunication equipment, the company equally benefited from his wealth of experience in dealing with constantly changing public perceptions and demands.
